Feel so Close by Calvin Harris

Okay. So within the past couple of days, I think this song has finally reached the States. Or at least, my area, cos it’s being played at least every five minutes. And every time I hear it, all I can think about is when the first official teaser we had of Sherlock’s series 2 was released—the BBC’s upcoming scheduling preview. I remember how we all went insane, and banded together in overjoyed camaraderie as our long, painful wait and the show’s hiatus drew to a close. 

Though I’m glad to no longer be stuck at the pool, wondering ‘How are we going to get out?’ It’s safe to say that it strikes me as extremely bittersweet. Everything felt so together, so natural and I felt part of something. While that still stands true, with the whole #BelieveinSherlock movement, I find myself wishing and waiting for when the fandom has gone insane with impatience yet again. Cos it was fun. Painful, but fun.
